Devin studies Psychology at Goucher College, and will graduate in May 2018 with his B.A.  For most of his life, he has lived with his grandparents and will be the first in his family to graduate from college. In summer 2017, he will be studying abroad in South Africa for three weeks.

"As I reflect on my journey to college, I am grateful for the help Building STEPS provided. I will be a first-generation college graduate. Therefore, I did not have much knowledge on college applications, FAFSA, and SATs four years ago. Building STEPS assisted me with the tools to apply to college successfully and I am forever grateful. As a senior in college, I often reminisce on the times I would visit Towson University to receive college essay preparation from Building STEPS during my senior year of high school...times flies.  Building STEPS is still a part of my college journey and I am thankful for the help that is offered. Thank you to each staff member of Building STEPS. I would not be where I am today without your assistance."

Asha graduated from P. L Dunbar High School in 2012. After one year at Baltimore City Community College, Asha transferred to Towson University. She will graduate in May 2018 with a B.A. in Family Studies; track in Youth and Human Services.
