Building STEPS Names David E. Lockhart Chairman of the Board of Directors

BALTIMORE, MD-July 21, 2021 – Building STEPS is pleased to announce that David E. Lockhart, DM, has been named Chairman of the Board of Directors. In his role, he will oversee the board’s strategic planning and organizational effectiveness and outcomes. He succeeds Dr. Richard Edlow who served as Chairman of the Board from July 2019 to July 2021.

David Lockhart is a retired U.S. Army Officer and Senior Manager with the Boeing Company. He represents a range of Boeing products and services aligned to U.S. Army needs in the communications, command and control, sensors, global positioning systems, cyber, testing, training, and unmanned aircraft systems. Dave sits on several boards in the local area dedicated to improving collaboration and interaction between industry, APG, and local community leaders. His passion lies with helping people and organizations collectively realize their full potential. He is a strong advocate for lifetime learning.
